The time has come, the walrus said

I love Jane.

She'll be here tomorrow night.
I don't think i could ever be with anyone that doesn't make me laugh, and that Jane does, in spades.

People say that Laughter is the best medicine, and i believe they are right. I've lifted a thousand spirits and serenaded a million souls. Making people laughs makes people feel good. One classic example is back in the olden days when I was spending time with Leslie. Her sister Catherine accidentally stabbed herself in the eye with a pair of pliers.  She didn't lose the eye but when she was in the hospital and in pain and slightly medicated, I wound up alone with her for over an hour. I don't recall why, but I kept her entertained with stories about wide-mouthed frogs and The Tick cartoon.
14 years later at Leslie's wedding, she told me that she remembered how my random entertaining musings kept her sane. It made me feel good.

These are the thoughts I thought.

Books, creative projects, and whatnot. Lots and lots of whatnot.

Greetings, Programs!
Today I endeavor to create a blog. If you're reading this, on today or any other day (which whenever you're reading this will be your 'today' so that kind of irrelevant -and hey! my first digression!), I thank you for being part of this project.

What will this 'project' entail? Ramblings. Updates. Philosophical meanderings about the tendency toward universal complexity. but mostly ramblings.

This seems like it would be easier to update and communicate through than my website so more effort will be put into this, especially as things like NaNoWriMo, the Family Dinner Comedy Troupe, Brutal Hijinx and my own stand-up efforts do their things.

Anyway, I've got to go, but remind me to tell you about this fabulous book I'm reading called "Shantaram," and one I've recently read called "Ready Player One". And about a million other things that need to be written down.
